2 Day Board Making Workshop
The Right Board for You
Our board making workshop will be the best experience - you'll never forget it. And you can take your masterpiece home with you! We give you design idea, help you create a plan, and show you how to build your own PowSurfboard! The whole process takes two days (which goes in quick), but your new board will last you for many seasons! (the first board we made is still surfing on Pow after nearly 10 years!) When you PowSurf with your newly created board, you'll never be able to return to the old boards and your PowSurf life from before... *minimum 2 people to operate this workshop
Design Ideas for Surfing on Snow
The design idea behind your PowSurf board is combination of surfboard design and snowboard design. You'll learn how the rocker, outline, and rail shape work on the snow, before designing the board for yourself.
All the Tools Are Set Up for You
All the tools and materials you'll be using to make your new PowSurf board will already be waiting for you. You just need to visit our workshop.
Instructors Take Care of Your Board
Our instructors will be there to help, every step of the way. They teach you how to use all of the machinery and tools in a safe way. They'll also offer guidance wherever it's required.
Get Ready to Surf on Snow!
At the end of your second day in the workshop, you'll have designed and built your new PowSurf board. That will include your leash code, leash plug, and grip tape or sand grip as well.

- Day 1 -
Learn about the design of PowSurf boards.
Learn the basic ideas of PowSurf boards.
Choose template
You can choose a template and draw design outlines from it.
Outline cut
Cut the initial shape of your board from blanks.
Rail shape
Shape off some edges of your board
Varnish
Apply some varnish to prolong the life of your board and keep it safe
- Day 2 -
Sanding
Sand the surface of your board to make it smooth.
Install leash plug
Make space for a leash plug and you won’t have to worry about losing your new board in pow!
Apply grip tape
Add grip tape to secure your footing on the board
Complete!
